Dr. Jarrod Testa is a Rehabilitative Osteopath, a title awarded by Osteopathy Australia in 2022 and re-awarded in 2025.
Jarrod began his career as a personal trainer in 2012 (Fitness Australia) while completing his Sports Science degree (Australian Catholic University) . With a strong interest in rehabilitation and athletic performance, he went on to study Osteopathy, graduating in 2018 (Victoria University)
This background allows Jarrod to combine the philosophies taught in osteopathic care with practical, evidence-based exercise and strength and conditioning strategies.
Jarrod enjoys working with people who are ready to take control of their pain complaints – with particular interest in spinal, shoulder, hip, elbow, knee and tendon related complaints.
Jarrod also enjoys working with those who are wanting more from their body and are ready to work towards achieving movement related goals.
Outside the clinic, Jarrod has been strength training for over 15 years and is a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Through his own experience as a young gym-goer, Jarrod saw firsthand how pain and injuries are often mismanaged when strength and conditioning principles aren’t considered.
This sparked his commitment to continually refining his approach to integrating rehabilitation with intelligent training, and therefore The Strength Osteo was born.
Jarrod is continually learning to provide the best service to his clients, and educate clinicians from all over various disciplines in the the allied health sector. you can read the following courses he has undertaken below;
